A. Surface Preparation:

Surfaces must be clean, smooth, solid, free from all kinds of dust, oil, dirt, rust, mold oil, detergent and similar substances and wastes that prevent adhesion. Surfaces must be level, weak parts must be removed. If there are cracks and cavities on the floor or wall to be applied, they should be repaired with suitable Barkimor Repair Mortars. It is recommended to apply Decorative Plaster Primer before application.

B. Material Preparation:

Pour 5.75 – 6 liters of clean, clear water taken from normal ambient temperature into a clean container. Slowly pour 25 kg Barkotek Grain Textured Decorative Plaster on it and continue mixing with the help of a suitable mixer for approximately 5 minutes until it reaches a homogeneous consistency. After leaving it to rest for 5 minutes, start the application by mixing for 1 minute. After applying the prepared homogenous mixture to the surface smoothly with a steel trowel, it should be patterned with circular movements with a flat plastic trowel within 5-10 minutes. The surface of the plastic trowel should be cleaned frequently during patterning. Products with the same charge number should be used on the same surface. In order to avoid overlapping on large area surfaces, care should be taken to ensure that sufficient number of workers are employed during the application and that the material is applied without interruption and without interruption until it reaches the joint ends or building corners.
